우리투데이 이동현 기자 |  2025-2026 PBA 드림투어 2차전이 지난 10월 11일부터 열려 12일에는 64강이 가려졌다. 13일부터는 본격적인 드라마가 펼쳐질 예정이다.
PBA 드림투어는 일반 국민들에게는 생소하지만 당구계에서는 잘 알려진 뜨거운 열전이다.
1부리그로 올라가기위한 2부리그 당구선수들의 뜨거운 경쟁을 볼수가 있는 흥미진진한 당구계의 '핫이슈'이다.

지난 2025-2026 PBA 드림투어 1차전에서는 '김무순 당구선수'가 우승을 차지하며 화제가 됐고, 이번 2차전에는 과연 누가 화제의 선수가 될지 13일부터 벌어지는 64강 경기가 당구인들을
설레게 만든다.

현재까지 알려진 바로는 64강 대진표에는 남상민/김보성2, 정호석/고주일, 문호범/강의주, 박광열/김용식, 김진태/강승구, 박정훈1/김윤재, 고해림/이달재, 양금모/강상구, 전재형/오성욱, 임형묵/이만영, 김종훈/노지성, 조병욱/허왕석, 성상은/백민수, 김도균/조상현, 정해창/김태우, 김태융/이대웅, 임지훈/권익중, 정석근/이희진, 유일천/김병섭, 차광수/유준석, 박선규/김광진, 방경복/김민재1, 최우진/김도형1, 김봉철/김규준, 최경준/이명일, 김성식/김규보, 손영준/김태관, 윤부철/장훈희, 김원재/이명종, 김경민/김상효, 조기수/이경환 당구선수가 격돌할 예정이다.

내일 13일 64강의 승자는 32강, 16강을 거쳐 14일에 최종적으로 우승자가 결정될 것으로 보여진다.

인천에서 드림투어에 참여한 정석근 당구선수에 따르면 "이번 2025-2026 PBA 드림투어 2차전을 위해 매일 인천에 위치한 당구매니아 당구클럽에서 매일 당구동호인들과 당구경기를 실전과 마찬가지로 유튜브 생방송을
하면서 이날을 준비했다"며, "인천 지역에서는 최근까지 당구클럽마다 유튜브 방송이 대세를 이끌고 있으며 이것은 전국적인 당구문화로 정착하고 있는것 같다"라고 밝혔다.

과거 당구계에서는 대대 열풍으로 디지털점수판 도입이 되며 개인(에버리지/하이런/경기 동영상)기록을 저장하게 됐으며, 2017년 금연법 이후 출범한 프로당구가 우여곡절 끝에 자리매김을 했으며, 현재 가장 큰 당구계의 변모는 '유튜브 방송'이다.

그 진앙지는 바로 2025-2026 PBA 드림투어가 맡고 있다. 1부리그로 도약하려는 전국의 드림투어 참가자들이 대회 경기처럼 유튜브방송을 통해 당구동호인들과 경기하는 유튜브 동영상이 퍼지면서 너도나도 드림투어 참가 당구선수와 당구경기를 하는 모습을 유튜브에 올리면서 유튜브에는 온통 '당구 동영상'이 넘쳐나고 있다.

김가영 여자당구선수를 비롯해 1부리그에서 화려하게 우승트로피를 들어올리는 모습 이면에는 일반인들에게는 생소한 2025-2026 PBA 드림투어를 통해 1부리그로 도약하려는 당구선수들의 땀과 열정으로 당구 종목은 앞으로 야구.축구.농구.배구가 따라올수 없는 '국민스포츠'로 K-당구를 향해 질주할것으로 보여진다.

According to Jung Seok-geun, a billiards player participating in the Dream Tour in Incheon, “For this 2025-2026 PBA Dream Tour Round 2, I prepared daily by playing matches with billiards enthusiasts at the Billiards Mania Club in Incheon, streaming them live on YouTube as if they were actual tournaments.” He added, “In the Incheon area, YouTube broadcasting has been leading the trend at every billiards club until recently, and it seems this is becoming established as a nationwide billiards culture.”
In the past, the billiards world saw a major trend with the introduction of digital scoreboards, enabling the storage of individual records (averages/high runs/match videos). Professional billiards, launched after the 2017 smoking ban, finally established itself after many twists and turns. Currently, the biggest transformation in the billiards world is ‘YouTube broadcasting’.
The epicenter of this shift is the 2025-2026 PBA Dream Tour. Videos of Dream Tour participants from across the country, aiming to leap into the first division, playing against billiards enthusiasts via YouTube broadcasts like official tournament matches are spreading.
